The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, during his visit to the Vatican today, was received by the head of the Holy See, Pope Francis.
Prime Minister Kurti has expressed his gratitude for the hospitality from Pope Francis, who he informed about the determination of Kosovo for peace, dialogue and cooperation, it is stated in the announcement of the Office of the Prime Minister of Kosovo.
Also, Prime Minister Kurti talked with Pope Francis "about youth and the future, about the figure, work and legacy of Mother Teresa, about Lent where she received the call for devotion, and about multi-religious coexistence in Kosovo".
"The Prime Minister further informed the Holy Father about the democratic and economic success of the country, and about the achievements of the government so far," the announcement states.
Kurti has invited Pope Francis to visit Kosovo, after the quick and good recovery from the surgical operation he had recently.
