A 26-year-old Chinese woman, known as Xu Yitong, recently made a strong complaint after traveling to the Maldives.

The young woman has stated that an employee of the five-star hotel "Ritz-Carlton" in the Maldives, where she was staying, sexually abused her.

She has published photos on social networks, where it can be seen that there are many signs of violence.

"He began to force his tongue into my mouth, then pushed me onto the bed and began to remove his pants. He put his penis in my mouth twice. Further, he touched me in my private parts and tried to have sexual intercourse", the Chinese citizen declares.

She confesses that the person who sexually assaulted her was called Usham and had gone to her room after asking for help because she was unable to contact her family on the phone.

According to her, the hotel staff did not take any action, but removed the evidence from the room before notifying the police.

Usham has not yet been arrested, as police are awaiting the results of Xu Yitong's medical examinations.

The Chinese embassy in the Maldives has sent representatives to the local police and the case is under investigation./ CNA.al
