The Secretary for Legal Affairs in DP, Ivi Kaso, has reacted to the appearance of the President of the Supreme Court, Sokol Sadushi, with a red communist scarf around his neck in a political activity.

In a press statement, Kaso said that Sadushi violated the Judge's Code of Ethics, stressing that he is not allowed to participate in political activities.

He mentioned the fact that the president of the Supreme Court was on the side of the socialist deputy Vullnet Sina, the mayor of Vlorë, Ermal Dredha, and the prefect of the district.

Kaso condemned the judges' participation in political activities and demanded immediate measures from the relevant institutions.

Point 6/ of the Code of Judicial Ethics clearly states: the judge must avoid behaviors that may create the public impression that he is politically engaged, nor participate in political activities, in any way, with the exception of matters of importance to functioning of the courts and their independence".

Sokol Sadushi, the president of the Supreme Court, ignores the Judge's Code of Ethics and violates it. As you will see in this photo that we are making public, he is in a political activity, as can be seen from the high political society that poses with the Sadushi judge.

On his right is the deputy of the Socialist Party Vullnet Sina, and the mayor of the Vlora Municipality, and on the left the prefect of the district, all three of the ruling party.

With this photo, Judge Sadushi proves what the Democratic Party says repeatedly. The courts and SPAK are accessories of Edi Rama and the government. They come from a common communist past and dream and work for a future with only their party in power in Albania.

For such people, the opposition is a nuisance that must be gotten rid of.

Imagine how Sokol Sadushi handles justice issues that affect the Democratic Party, when he goes out in public, without batting an eyelash at the opponents of the DP, MPs and high functionaries of the Socialist Party.

We are right when we identify them for what they are. Judges caught by their past and Rama's benefits that ensure a warm future.

Sadushi is not the first case. Another senior judge participated a few days ago in the celebration of the "Basha group" and until today there is no reaction from the responsible bodies.

The Democratic Party condemns the participation of judges in political activities and demands immediate measures from the relevant institutions.

Failure to respond proves compliance with the violation.
