Environmental massacre/ Tirana River is "buried" in inert materials

The Tirana Riverbed and the Arbër Road are facing pollution and a real environmental destruction, which begins at the entrance to this road axis.

A complaint reached the CNA editorial office on April 20, stating that private entities and irresponsible individuals are dumping endless amounts of soil and aggregates on the side of the road and in the riverbed.

Immediately after this alert, CNA's camera moved to the outskirts of the capital to document what is considered a blatant environmental crime.

The footage shows a true catastrophe, inert waste has completely blocked the side of the road, while the presence of tires and other debris has transformed this area into a giant garbage dump.

This environmental massacre is irreversibly destroying the suburb's ecosystem, blocking the natural flow of water. Businesses are treating the road and river as a dumping ground for construction waste, taking advantage of the lack of controls.
