During the performance, backstage, an iron barbell fell on the minor's head.

The minor was urgently transported to the University Trauma Hospital and, fortunately, is out of danger, but continues to be under medical treatment.

There has been total silence about this event from the institutions involved in a scandal.

A workplace accident was kept secret and the event was not reported by any responsible institution.

Responsibility for this event falls on the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports, headed by Blendi Gonxhe, which has intervened to keep the event secret.

The accident was not reported because the responsibility falls on the Ministry of Gonxha, which did not verify safety conditions and attempted to hide the crime.

After the accident occurred due to a lack of safety in the vehicles used at the National Circus.

It is scandalous that institutions remain silent in the face of such an event, which could have had even more serious consequences for the life of the minor or any other employee in that institution.

The denunciation of this accident was made on social networks by the Independent Union of Arts, Culture and Media of Albania, which made the case public, raising the alarm that we are not simply dealing with an accident but is a direct consequence of the lack of real safety standards, institutional negligence, lack of technical control, the use of premises unsuitable for circus activities and unclear collaborations with external entities, without security guarantees.

This is a warning siren about how such an accident where the life of a minor is endangered is being hidden and Gonxha's Ministry is attempting to cover up the crime.

"April 28 is not a formality but an alarm for working life.

On this April 28, World Day for Safety and Health at Work, promoted by the International Labor Organization (ILO), we do not have the luxury of making formal statements.

Because just a few days ago, on the premises of the National Circus, an accident occurred that should never have happened.

The fact that the minor does not belong to the structure of the National Circus, but to a private studio, further aggravates the situation and requires full transparency on how these activities are carried out.

The most serious violation is the institutional silence. Up to this moment, it appears that neither the State Police nor the State Labor Inspectorate have been notified.

This is not simply a lack of response. This is a direct violation of legal obligations. Failure to report an accident involving a minor in the workplace is unacceptable and raises serious suspicions of an attempt to cover up the incident.

The Independent Union of Arts, Culture and Media of Albania calls on the State Police, the Labor Inspectorate, the Ministry responsible for culture and every responsible institution to intervene immediately for a full investigation of the event, verification of security conditions at the National Circus and clarification of institutional and individual responsibilities.
