Boçi denounces the environmental crime in Elbasan/ It is silently killing

The candidate of the Democratic Party for the Municipality of Elbasan, Luciano Boçi, has denounced the environmental pollution in this city.

Through a post on social networks, Boçi says that environmental crime in this city has been silently killing the economy, the lives of the residents and their dreams for 5 decades.

He emphasizes that the cleanliness of the environment will be a principle for their project in Elbasan.

"The environment is our absolute priority; it is the health of our children and our protected ability to inherit as a civilization.

Ask yourself: how many of your acquaintances died of cancer? How many friends could not have children thanks to the cobalt plant? How often have you heard about the occupational diseases of Metallurgy?

The environmental crime that has been taking place in Elbasan for more than 5 decades has killed and is silently killing our lives, our economic powers, our plans for development, our dreams. This feeling alienates children, depresses educated minds and hardens the entire social environment left without hope.

Returning the Environment to our highest priority is the alpha and omega of our project for Elbasan. We must regain the power to return to acceptable rates the air and water, the land and the roots of our civilization. Only together - we can.", writes Boçi./ CNA
