Why you should surround yourself with people you can talk to and how it changes

There are people who are part of our lives every day… and there are people we can really talk to.

The difference between them isn't always obvious at first. Everyone can laugh with you, spend time with you, seem close to you. But when it comes time to share something important, to speak without filters, to be honest — very few remain.

Because not every relationship is built on true communication. And not every person is ready to listen, let alone talk.

This is why many people feel lonely, even when they are surrounded by others.
Not for lack of company, but for lack of connection.

In the end, the quality of our lives is not measured by the number of people we have around us, but by those few people with whom we can be completely ourselves without fear, without masks, without feeling judged.

Talking to people and engaging in interesting conversations is equivalent to an injection of endorphins, oxytocin, and serotonin. Science confirms it

What do we need to be happy? A comforting hand on the shoulder in the worst moments, a sincere and loving hug, the loving presence of people who remind us that life is not only about goals to achieve and professional roles to aspire to, much less the precious objects that define our status.

However, we need people to talk to. Friends, acquaintances, colleagues and partners who really want to listen to us and who we really want to listen to so that we can wander into interesting conversations that can intrigue and stimulate us. After all, we have all experienced that magical and inexplicable connection immediately after a dialogue with a person we thought was not interesting.

Science explains this brain magic: conversations are a real injection of endorphins and serotonin for our brain.   That's why, sometimes, the connection with some people is primarily mental. This is demonstrated by the fact that often the mind can seduce even more than a beautiful body.

An article published in the scientific journal Science Daily considered the beneficial effects of an interesting conversation. According to the study, it turned out that dialogues with people are able to generate changes in the brain that can improve our well-being, or weaken it, as in the case of energy vampires or all those people who unload their negativity on us.

On the other hand, other people have the magical power to make us feel better thanks to the dialogues that are developed with them. This happens when we have interesting and stimulating topics in mind, when we have things in common to talk about, when we find ourselves listening to live speeches.

The brain loves these experiences. It is thanks to someone's words, in fact, that we can benefit from a significant increase in endorphins, oxytocin, and serotonin, hormones that naturally fight and reduce stress and make us feel better.

Because if it is true that our brain is the space where all our emotions live, it is equally true that "filling it" with satisfying experiences only contributes to our mental and physical well-being, which, we now have confirmation, also passes through conversations.

Let's create, then, some daily spaces during which to talk. Let's surround ourselves with interesting people with whom to do it to share experiences, thoughts and notions of life, to create magical alchemy. Let's open our brain space to interesting conversations, so that we find ourselves filled with beautiful sensations. /Bota.al
