The Elbasan Prosecutor's Office has issued eight arrest warrants for falsifying the results of the April 25 elections in two counting centers in Elbasan.

The arrested are Erald Karriqi, Ylli Kuka, Durim Alla, Erjon Dashi, Mili Vasku and Olgert Alla. While Oltion Bajrami and Eduart Zito are wanted.

All are counters in a CEAZ, representatives of the Democratic Party, the Socialist Party and the Socialist Movement for Integration.

According to what is reported in the media, in the testimonies before the investigative group, they stated that the mistake was made due to fatigue and carelessness, stating that it was not intentional and that they had no interest in changing the result.

 "I do not know how this change of votes was made in this table, the result of this ballot box, I think it would have been a mistake due to fatigue because there was not even an interest in changing the result." - stated Ylli Kuka./ AE-CNA.al
