Murder of former police officer/ Ilir Selmanaj's testimony in the Criminal Court of Kosovo is revealed, here's when the verdict will be given

The hearing for the murder of Santiago Malko was held today at the GJKKO, while Ilir Selmanaj, the accused in the murder of the former police officer, was also present at the trial.

According to information, Selmanaj has declared his innocence and has also said that he has no connection to the incident.

"I am innocent. I have nothing to do with this incident,"  he said.

Among other things, it is reported that the former police officer's mother has accused Selmanaj of murdering her son and has requested that the court sentence him to 28 years in prison.

"This guy who killed my son should be sentenced to 28 years in prison. If you get him out, bring my son home so I can see him ," she said.

Meanwhile, it is learned that the hearing where the verdict will be given for the accused in the murder of former police officer Santiago Malko has been postponed to July 17. /CNA
