Berisha participates in the IDC-CDI General Assembly in Brussels

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, is participating in the proceedings of the General Assembly of the Centrist Democrat International (IDC-CDI), the center-right political organization, where he serves as Vice President.

The Assembly has gathered in Brussels political leaders, former presidents, MEPs and representatives of member parties from Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia to discuss global political developments, challenges to democracy, strengthening the rule of law and international cooperation.

The proceedings were opened by the President of IDC-CDI, former President of Colombia Andrés Pastrana, while the Secretary General's report was presented by MEP Antonio López-Istúriz.

The Assembly's agenda includes speeches by political figures, discussions in the plenary session with members of the Executive Committee and leaders of member parties, as well as the adoption of resolutions on key issues of international politics. /CNA
