Late last night, the Assembly approved the draft law on amendments to the law "On the Right to Information for the documents of the Former State Security of the Republic, Socialist People's Republic of Albania", as amended, with 94 votes in favor and 2 abstentions.

Deputies of the Alibeaj group joined the votes with the majority, voting in favor of the law on opening the files.

But what stands out are the abstentions that have come from the ranks of the socialists. Initially, only one abstention was reported, but with the clarification of the lists, two abstentions were observed.

It is about MPs Damian Gjiknuri and Nasipi Naço.
