Dubai's youth register for May 11 elections/ Diaspora requests from 97

Requests by countries where Albanians are legal or illegal residents and have applied to be provided with a ballot have arrived from 97 countries around the world. 64,512 Albanians have requested the right to vote for the elections of May 11, 2025.

According to the official CEC table, Italy leads as the country with the most requests, followed by Greece, Germany, the USA, Britain and France.

While there is no shortage of applications from the United Arab Emirates or Dubai with 36 of them.

Dubai has been housing fugitives for years. As long as they or anyone else has a final conviction for a criminal offense under the decriminalization law, they are allowed to vote or run. Countries such as Colombia, Ukraine, and Tajikistan have each applied for one.
