Reducing roaming charges between the Western Balkans and the EU / Majlinda Bregu presents the next challenge

The General Secretary of the Regional Cooperation Council, Majlinda Bregu, has held a meeting with mobile phone operators at Deutschetelekom's offices in Vienna.

Bregu has presented the next challenge, which is the reduction of roaming charges between the Western Balkans and the EU.

Among other things, Bregu emphasizes that, during one year, the use of mobile phones in regional roaming has increased by 76%.

Bregu informs that, from the removal of EU-Western Balkans roaming charges, citizens, businesses from Europe and our region benefit equally.

She underlines that the RCC will continue to coordinate the process of reducing tariffs towards the complete zeroing of roaming between the Western Balkans and the EU, starting from 2023./ AE-CNA.al
