Temperature below zero/ How is the precipitation situation in the Korça

The Korça Prefecture has shared details regarding the current situation due to rainfall and flooding in this region. The announcement below states that temperatures have been below zero and salting has been carried out in problematic areas.

Meanwhile, in the Ersekë–Leskovik and Maliq–Kufi Gramsh segments, traffic continues normally. It is reported that there is a limited number of subscribers without electricity. Specifically, in the Maliq area there are 14 rural subscribers, in the Pogradec area there are 4 private subscribers, while in the Gjanç area there are 2 subscribers.

It is also announced that work continues to close the crack in the Devoll River embankment, with the involvement of the Ministry of Defense's resources, in cooperation with the Maliq Municipality and the Directorate of Irrigation and Drainage.

The Korça District Prefecture informs that, according to data from the ARRSH - Center-East Directorate, no precipitation was recorded on the road axes of the district during the night. Temperatures were below zero and salting was carried out in problematic areas.

In the Ersekë–Leskovik and Maliq–Kufi Gramsh segments, traffic continues normally. On the Maliq–Kufi Gramsh axis, mud-like alluvium coming from the escarpments remains problematic, mainly in the Lozhani area.

On the Boboshticë–Dardhe, Lapidari Podgorie–Podgorie–Liqenas axes, as well as on lot 7 (Libonik–Rëmbec–Plasë and Korçë–Voskopojë), salting has been carried out as needed and traffic is normal.

No problems are reported on the Korça–Ersekë and Zemblak–Goricë–Bilisht–Miras axes, while it is recommended to drive with winter tires.

OSHEE - Korça Regional Directorate reports that there are currently 3 partially disconnected feeders, with a limited number of subscribers without electricity:

In the Maliqi area, 14 rural subscribers;

In the Pogradec area, 4 private subscribers;

In the Gjanç area, 2 subscribers.

OSHEE teams are on standby to repair defects in the field. All feeders supplying consumers of special importance are functional. The Pogradec hydroelectric power plant continues to operate normally.
