Arrested for the Rinas/Brothers mega-robbery, request the Constitutional Court to overturn the decision

The arrested brothers, Klement and Eldi Çala, have sent their case regarding the sensational robbery at Rinas airport to the Constitutional Court.

In the request made through their lawyers, the Çala brothers request the overturning of the current Supreme Court decision and the return of the file for review.

It is alleged that due process standards, as well as rights guaranteed by the Constitution, were violated during the trial.

Klement Çala was sentenced to 20 years in prison, while Eldi Çala was sentenced to 17 years in prison.

The Rinas robbery took place in April 2019, where Admir Murataj and other individuals managed to get 4.6 million euros while they were being loaded onto the plane.
