Lawyer Saimir Vishaj a few days ago announced his candidacy for the position of Ombudsman.

Vishaj announced that 53 deputies from the DP and SP have signed his candidacy, expressing surprise at this.

The lawyer expressed his gratitude for the support while noting that the platform he will present to the Assembly is the basic principle that no one is above the law and that it will protect the vulnerable class of people from any abuse by the brutal administration, which according to him is against the right to freedom and gender equality.

"Unbelievably, 53 MPs from the DP and SP political entities have decided to sign the proposal for my candidacy, Saimir Shaban Vishaj, for the position of Ombudsman, a vacancy opened by the Albanian Parliament.

Gratitude to all the MPs who will sign, as my platform that I will present before the Albanian Parliament is about the basic principle "No one is above the law, protecting that layer from physical and psychological violence from detention, prisons, the ordinary citizen from any abuse by the savage administration against the right to freedom and gender equality", emphasized lawyer Vishaj./ CNA
