The police have issued an official statement regarding the arsenal of weapons found in Nikël, Fushë-Krujë. According to information, a 48-year-old man with the initials YZ, the owner of the apartment where the combat ammunition was found, has been declared wanted.

This person is being investigated for links to the perpetrators of the attack that occurred two days ago at the Rinas roundabout.

It is suspected that the car used by the people who executed Gilmando Dani, Emiljano Shullazi's right-hand man, and seriously injured Muçi Shaljani, also left his apartment.

Police announcement:

Tirana/The police operation codenamed "Tracking" is being carried out by specialists from the Serious Crimes Sector of the Tirana Police Department, in cooperation with the services of the Krujë Police Commissariat.

The operation, still ongoing in the Krujë district, within the framework of intensive investigative and operational work, with the objective of clarifying the authorship and circumstances of the event of 12.11.2025, at the Rinas roundabout.

A house is discovered in the village of Zall, Fushë Krujë, where an arsenal of explosive weapons, firearms and ammunition was kept.

During the searches, the following were found in this apartment:
-3 TNT cartridges;
-12 assault hand grenades;
-a quantity of explosives ready to explode, assembled with detonator caps, fuses and mobile phones (mines);
-3 grenade launchers, detonator caps and 5 mobile phones;
-4 firearms (2 automatics and 2 rifles), 8 rifles and weapon parts;
-6000 cartridges of various calibers;
-2 kg and 25 grams of Cannabis.

Following the procedural actions in the case, the owner of the apartment, citizen YZ, 48 years old, was declared wanted.

Intensive efforts are being made to capture him, and an investigation is underway to uncover the possible connection the 48-year-old may have with the incident that occurred at the Rinas roundabout.

The police operation, codenamed "Tracking", continues.
