Whispering Service in Albanian at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens before the body of Archbishop Anastasios

At the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens, the Metropolitan of Apollonia and Fier, Nikola, the Bishop of Kruja, Anastasius, the Grand Iconomist Father Harallamb Gjoka, and the Protopresbyter Father Spiridhon Topanxha performed the Service of Whispering in the Albanian language before the body of the late Archbishop Anastas.

The Archbishop passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 95, in an Athens hospital after many days in hospital.

The reception of the body of the late Archbishop will take place in front of the "Resurrection of Christ" Cathedral in Tirana, on Tuesday, January 28, at 4:00 PM.

Following the reception, tributes will be held inside the Cathedral this afternoon and throughout the day tomorrow, Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30, at 11:00 AM, after the Divine Liturgy./ CNA
