DP leader Sali Berisha has reacted to the passing of Archbishop Anastasios Janullatos.
Berisha expressed his greatest appreciation for the immortal contribution of His Beatitude in the resurrection from the ashes of the communist dictatorship of the Autocephalous Church of Albania.
The former Prime Minister expressed his deepest condolences to the family, the Autocephalous Orthodox Church, and all Orthodox people of Albania.
"The sun set forever for His Beatitude, Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and all Albania, Anastasios Janullatos.
Today, with special honor and respect, I express my greatest appreciation for the immortal contribution of His Beatitude in the resurrection from the ashes of the communist dictatorship of the Autocephalous Church of Albania.
"I also express my deepest condolences to the family, the Autocephalous Orthodox Church and all the Orthodox of Albania and I pray to God, together with them, that the bright soul of this selfless servant of the Church and God may find eternal peace," Berisha writes./ CNA
