The Albania - European Union Stabilization and Association Parliamentary Committee has started its second session today. The Chairman of the Laws Committee, Ulsi Manja, delivered his speech during the discussions on the progress and challenges of the institutions of the rule of law, the fight against corruption and all forms of crime.

Manja said that Albania's achievements in the fight against corruption and the management of criminal assets are visible. He said that seized assets have increased by 60% year on year. Meanwhile, he also added that he hopes that within 2027 the chapter of negotiations with the European Union will be closed and in 2030 Albania will become a member of the union.
