Protest for Veliaj at SPAK/AMP launches investigation into Tirana deputy police

The Police Supervision Agency has concluded that the Tirana Police Directorate failed to fulfill its duty on the day of Erion Veliaj's court session to maintain order and security, and did not take the appropriate measures.

According to the same sources, the AMP concluded that there was a lack of communication between the authorities, namely the Tirana Police and the Guard, regarding the creation of a plan of measures regarding the rally held on February 12.

 

" There will be a commission that will be established by AMP regarding the verification of the circumstances and conditions if there will be a measure against them. However, preliminary investigations have reached the conclusion that we are dealing with a serious violation ," the decision states.

We recall that the investigations into this case began after the request of SPAK and GJKKO, according to which on February 12, the security of prosecutors and judges was violated.
