Sokol Meqemeja, the representative of the "Frigo Food" company that imports 'Wudy' sausages, has reacted again regarding the "Wudy" products, after the news about a bacterium in the sausages.

Meqemeja said in "Euronews Albania" that he was informed about the problem by the sausage production company itself, a day before the AKU came out with an official announcement.

“Problemin e ka zbuluar vetë fabrika, e ka denoncuar vetë fabrika. Është thirrur ministri i Bujqësisë italiane në fabrikë, është bërë e gjithë procedura, është bllokuar ky lot i fabrikës. Është kompani që mban 65% të popullsisë të tregut italian, shërbejnë për të paktën 50 milionë banorë në Itali, por edhe në Gjermani e Holandë.

Madje kanë marrë në telefon fabrikën në Itali, a kanë vdekur njerëz në Shqipëri? Unë jam vënë në dijeni një ditë para AKU-së, nga kompania mëmë. Kam folur me fabrikën në Itali, lotet që ju po merrni mall janë të sigurta dhe mos kini merak se lotet problematike janë bllokuar. Nuk kanë ardhur te ne”, u shpreh përfaqësuesi i kompanisë “Frigo Food”.

Ai theksoi se produktet me probleme nuk kanë ardhur në Shqipëri.
