"He considered the palace without permission as legitimate property"/ Rama, slaps the judge: Under the trench of illegality

"He considered the palace without permission as legitimate property"/

Prime Minister Edi Rama, after prosecutor Elsa Gjeli, also has a "slap" for judge Habzi Balliu, who, according to Rama, has ruled in favor of illegal builders, considering an unauthorized building confiscated in the middle of Tirana as legitimate property.

Rama emphasizes that Balliu has been placed in a trench with Prosecutor Gjeli, against the state and the law.

"After Prosecutor Gjeli, who considered the crime of building an entire tourist village without a permit in the heart of Theth, as a natural development and did not even open an investigation, openly placing herself in the trench of anti-law and anti-state against the interests of the Republic of Albania, yesterday Judge Balliu appeared in the same trench, who considered an entire building without a permit confiscated by the state in the middle of Tirana and placed in the function of the State Cadastre Agency, as the legitimate property of the illegal builders, imposing security measures in their favor.

Unfortunately, neither Gjeli nor Balliu are the only prosecutors and court officials who are keeping alive in our justice system the old brutal force of anti-law and anti-state to the detriment of the interests of the state, the community, and the ordinary people of this country, whenever they are confronted by big business entities.

The question that arises instead of the screams of revolt in this case too is, where are the independent institutions of governance of the Judiciary and control of these abusers of the independence of justice, which have long been proving their non-existence in relation to the screaming abuses of prosecutors and judges of every level?

The people who vote for us demand accountability from us for the anti-law and anti-state stances of the justice system, which is totally independent of the executive branch. But where can we demand accountability, in the name of their interests and the state itself, for these and many other stabs in the back that our Republic and many of its citizens receive from the Roosters and Heads within the justice system, who are paid by Albanian taxes much more than all the other employees of this state.

One thing is for sure: Albanians did not give us the strong mandate to make Albania a state of law by 2030, a member of the European Union, to raise our hands in front of the Roosters of the prosecutor's offices and the Heads of the courts, whether when they kick the Republic, or when they punch people who deserve justice, only justice and nothing more or less than justice.

"Justice is delayed but it is not forgotten, the people say. For everyone," said Rama./ CNA
