"One more number in the book of life"/ Majlinda Bregu takes on new

Former Minister of Integration, Majlinda Bregu, announced today that she has accepted a new assignment in her professional journey. Through a post on social media, Bregu writes that she will be the Commissioner of the Pan-European Commission on Climate and Health, PECCH, established by the World Health Organization, Europe.

Bregu says he will work to build the policies that Europe urgently needs to face the new risks and crises that are increasingly affecting it.

"With one more number today in the book of life, I am also sharing the news that I have joined, as Commissioner, the Pan-European Commission on Climate and Health #PECCH, established by the World Health Organization - Europe!

Together with renowned figures from European politics, science and medicine, selected from different regions of the continent, we will work to build the policies that Europe urgently needs to face the new risks and crises that are increasingly affecting us.

It's not about the climate.

It's for life.

From the air we breathe and the water we drink, to food security, extreme heat waves, floods, earthquakes, and the frightening spread of physical and mental illnesses, climate change has become a public health crisis.

Age sharpens perspective.
