The Operational Unit of the Traffic Police, within the framework of increased measures for the prevention of road accidents, on the road axis Tepelenë-Gjirokastër, monitoring the traffic, with automatic radars, has found and punished 50 drivers for wrong overtaking, speed exceeding the norms allowed and other violations, which are a source of traffic accidents.
The monitoring of the road axes of Gjirokastër district will continue in the coming days.
The Traffic Police appeals to all vehicle drivers to limit the speed, not to drive vehicles, in a state of intoxication, not to perform wrong overtaking or dangerous maneuvers on the road, but to implement the rules of road traffic, in order to prevent accidents and increasing road safety parameters.
