The Minister of the Interior, Ervin Hoxha, has defended the director of the Shkodër Police, Edmond Sulaj, who was accused by the head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, in connection with Sulaj's name as the head of the police.
Hoxha said that Sulaj is a career officer and took office in 2023.
"Mr. Mondi has the rank of first manager and holds the position of Police Director in Shkodër. I worked with Mr. Edmond Sulaj and he is one of the career officers who has shown ability and integrity throughout his career. He has 27 years of work. Sulaj took office in 2023. Sulaj was elected according to merit through competition," said Hoxha./ CNA
