At last light, the Hawthorn tunnel is fully opened

Finally light in the main tunnel of Arbri Street. It is known that yesterday it became possible to join the two sides of the main tunnel of Murriz on Rruga e Arbri.

The authorities announced that the delays in this tunnel were due to the geology of the land. But now the tunnel has been fully opened, this is good news not only for the residents of the area, but for all Albanians. 

The Murriz tunnel has a length of approximately 3.8 km, it is expected to have a tremendous impact on vehicle traffic.

This tunnel has two movement lanes with 3.75 meters and sidewalks with a width of 1.5 meters. 

The works on Arbri Street started in the spring of 2018 and it is expected to be fully opened for traffic at the end of 2024./ CNA
