Supporting cyber investigations/ 12 SPAK and Police specialists are trained

12 specialists from SPAK and the Albanian State Police were trained this week as part of the program to support cyber investigations.

They participated in the course “Forensic Best Practices on Macintosh”.

In a post on social media, the US Embassy announced that specialists learned the details of the operating system.

“This week, 12 specialists from SPAK and the Albanian State Police participated in the “Macintosh Forensic Best Practices” course. The training was conducted by the State Department’s Office of Counterterrorism Assistance through the Embassy’s Regional Security Office. The specialists learned the ins and outs of the Mac operating system and practiced hands-on skills to find and analyze critical data in support of cyber investigations. American expertise and leadership in technology is essential to protecting the United States and our allies from cyber threats,” the US Embassy in Tirana wrote. /CNA
