National and International Marathon in Pogradec/ Here are the axes that will be

Korça Police has published the plan of measures taken, within the framework of the development of the National and International Marathon, tomorrow in Pogradec.

For two hours, from 19:00 to 21:00, several axes Lin-Pogradec, Tushemisht-Pogradec, as well as several axes within the city of Pogradec will be blocked until the end of the activity.

Measures to guarantee order and security during the National and International Marathon, on 26.07.2025, in the city of Pogradec

On 26.07.2025, at 19:00, in the city of Pogradec, the "Maraton Albania" association, in cooperation with the Municipality of Pogradec, will organize a marathon sports activity, as part of participation in the National and International Marathons.

This activity includes two competitive disciplines:

Half marathon (21 km): starting from the village of Lin, along the road along the lakeside, and ending in the city center of Pogradec;

Mini marathon (10 km): starting from the city center, along the Pogradec - Buçimas - Tushemisht axis, and returning to the starting point, in the city center, along the lakeside promenade and the connecting ring road.

For the smooth running of this activity, Police structures will take the necessary measures to:

maintaining public order and security;

guaranteeing road and competitor safety;

traffic management and prevention of potential road incidents.

Temporary traffic disruptions:

On the "Lin-Pogradec" axis, the left side of the road will be blocked;

On the "Tushemisht-Pogradec" axis, both lanes will be blocked;

Also, several segments within the city of Pogradec will be temporarily blocked until the end of the activity.

Blocking hours: from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

The Korça Local Police Directorate asks for the understanding of road users for these temporary measures and thanks you for your cooperation in order to ensure the safe development of this international sporting activity.
