The fight against piracy/AMA: Another lawbreaker

The Audiovisual Media Authority announced today that in the framework of the fight against piracy, it has identified another violation.

The head of AMA, Armela Krasniqi, stated that administrative measures are being taken and illegal operators are being fined.

In a reaction on social networks, Krasniqi indicates that the situation has been identified in the city of Kukës.

"AMA inspectors have continued their work in the field, monitoring the market and identifying pirated broadcasts. An IPTV server was found in the city of Kukës, which can be accessed through the portal: http://ft45.tvalfa.org:2095/c.
On this server, the Albanian platforms DigitAlb and Tring Tv were illegally distributed to end subscribers, along with their respective sports packages: Super Sport and Tring Sport. International platforms and international sports channels were also found in unauthorized broadcasts: Sky Sport, Bein Sport, Eleven Sport, Digi Sport, Nova Sport, Cosmote Sport, etc.
An administrative measure has been taken against this violator, according to the legal provision in force, with a fine of 5 million lek, the computer unit used for the IPTV server broadcast has been seized and the URL has been reported to AKEP for further measures.
