DP leadership member Grigels Muçollari has called the protests held in the capital a revolution.
Invited to the Now show with Erla Mëhilli, Muçollari said that this is the first time that all opposition movements are together in protest.
"You've seen 13 years of various scandals being exposed, and the moment for citizens to reflect and rise up comes as a job for the opposition and journalists. When the 5D scandal came out and the protests continued, that gentleman went behind bars."
The protest has surprised us all. We have seen something different that we did not expect. This is a pure peaceful revolution. I hope it does not end with beheadings. This revolution is bearing its first fruits. Albanians are deciding their own fate. It is the first protest that has united all opposition streams together", said Muçollari./ CNA
