Following a warrant from Belgian authorities, searches were carried out in 4 premises, in cooperation with SPAK. Police found fake documents, electric shocks and shotgun cartridges in the apartment of a 33-year-old man.

The 33-year-old was arrested and the items were seized.

As a result of the checks carried out in 4 premises, in cooperation with SPAK, BKH and the Berat Prosecutor's Office, in implementation of a letter of request from the Belgian authorities, specialists from the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Section of the Berat DVP arrested citizen HV, 33 years old, in flagrante delicto.

In this citizen's apartment, in the "28 Nëntori" neighborhood, 1 identity card and 1 driver's license, suspected to be fake, were found, as well as 1 electroshock weapon and several shotgun cartridges.

The procedural materials were referred to the Berat Prosecutor's Office for further action./CNA
