In a joint conference with senior Italian justice officials, SPAK head Altin Dumani stated that the mega-operation "Ura" by SPAK and the Italian anti-mafia is an achievement, as it targeted one of the most powerful criminal groups in Albania.

In his speech, Dumani emphasized the role of the Police and SPAK investigators in this action between the two countries.

Dumani thanked EUROJUST and EUROPOL for their contribution to the joint investigations and the implementation of this action.

"It has been possible to deal a blow to one of the most powerful criminal groups in Albania. This action was supported by in-depth investigations. The result is clear evidence of what cooperation between the institutions of the two countries can do. Allow me to express my appreciation to the Police and the SPAK investigators. They have made an extraordinary contribution to the realization of this action. Thanks to EUROJUST and EUROPOL for the investigations in the framework of this case and the joint team with the Bari unit", - said Dumani./CNA
