Criminology expert, Ervin Karamuço

The criminology expert, Ervin Karamuço, has shown who is behind the cyber attacks on government websites, which have paralyzed services in E-Albania.

Karamuço said that Iranian hacker groups could be behind them, who he claims have put Albania in continuous cyber attacks for a long time.

He stated in ABC News that the attacks may have come after the recent events with Iranian agents in Albania.

“Ajo që nuk është thënë është se Shqipëria ka kohë që është në sulm të vazhueshëm kibernetik. E ngriti këtë shqetësim ministri i Mbrojtjes vitin e kaluar në Parlament. Sulme ka pasur sidomos mbas 24 shkurtit, me fillimin e pushtimit rus në Ukrainë. Rusia ka ndërmarrë një sërë sulmesh për shumë shtete aleate të Ukrainës. Po në këtë rast ka dyshime se sulmi ka ardhur nga Irani, se ne kemi pasur disa ngjarje. Agjentë të gardës iraniane që janë arrestuar, janë vënë në hetim. Në mediat iraniane Shqipëria është cilësuar si vend armik. Janë dy grupe që janë shumë të fuqishme, “Blac Shadow” dhe “Deus” mund të kenë sulmuar sistemet tona të mbrojtjes teknologjike.
