"I consider the situation very serious"/ On the verge of leaving, Meta

President Ilir Meta reacted after the blocking of online services for citizens.

The reason for this block is a cyber attack.

Through a post on social networks, Meta writes that this is an unprecedented situation and that the security of the country and citizens is at risk.

"I assess the situation created as a result of the blocking of online public services as extremely serious, which has created extraordinary difficulties for citizens, businesses and for many other activities related to this system.

Repeatedly, even at the meetings of the National Security Council before the aggression against Ukraine, I requested the taking of all measures to increase cyber security, to prevent such events.

This situation, in the context of internal and international developments, burdens even more and compromises the functioning of the state, in all aspects, where especially the citizens are the ones who suffer the consequences the most.

I appeal to take immediate, serious and responsible measures, mobilizing the highest professional expertise for the fastest possible solution and bringing the situation under control, to ensure that such events do not recur in the future." end the reaction, Meta. /CNA.al
