SPAK defendant will defend Veliaj in the GJKKO

One of the defendants under investigation by the Special Prosecution Office will be the lawyer of the arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

Plarent Ndreca, former SP MP and former municipal council member, while he is under investigation by SPAK and the process against him is being conducted at the GJKKO, goes and takes up Veliaj's process.

Meanwhile, if Ndreca is punished, it is not known how he will proceed. Apparently, this is the next "scumbag" and is simply a temporary replacement.

Other lawyers will come and Plarent Ndreca will be "martyred" very soon.

We remind you that today the second trial session on the merits is being held for the mayor arrested on 13 charges for 5 serious criminal offenses, Erion Veliaj, his wife Ajola Xoxa, as well as the other 28 defendants.

Investigation against Plarent Ndreca

Plarent Ndreca has been indicted by SPAK for alleged violations of equality in tenders. The investigations were conducted for the tender for the reconstruction of the police stations of Vlora, Mirdita, Pogradec and Tirana. Ndreca committed the violations while he was in office as Secretary General at the Ministry of Interior.

The report to SPAK was made by the Supreme State Audit, which suspects that officials have allowed inconsistencies and legal deviations in the competition for intervention in the Vlora, Mirdita, Pogradec and Police Stations No. 4 in Tirana.

According to the SAI, during the audit, inconsistencies and legal deviations were found, as a result of violations of legal provisions in public procurement procedures, which have violated the equality of tender participants. /CNA
