A few minutes ago, Shkodra was hit by an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 on the Richter Scale with a depth of 15.8 km.
The National Civil Protection Agency provides new details, noting that the epicenter of the earthquake was in Velipojë. Among other things, it is noted that so far there are no reports of material damage.

According to preliminary data from the Institute of Geosciences, at 14:39:00, earthquake tremors with a magnitude of 4.1 on the Richter scale were felt. The epicenter was recorded in Velipojë, in the Shkodra district, with a depth of 15.8 km.
The tremors were also felt in the areas surrounding the epicenter. According to preliminary communications with local government representatives, the civil protection structures of the Shkodra Municipality and Shkodra District have not reported any material damage.
