The Constitutional Court dismisses Berisha's request/ Does not exclude

The Constitutional Court has not accepted the request of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, for the dismissal of judge Marsida Xhaferllari, who is the partner of MP Enkelejd Alibeajt.

In the document submitted by Sali Berisha in October, it is stated that judge Marsida Xhaferllari cannot participate in the review of his requests, as she is in a conflict of interest, as long as she is Alibeaj's partner.

The latter is the only opposition deputy who participated in the council of mandates and voted in favor of removing the mandate for Sali Berisha at the time it was requested by SPAK. Another argument of the lawyers is that Alibeaj appealed the decision on the seal of the DP, opposing Sali Berisha as the head of the DP.
