PHOTOS - Opposition demands Rama's removal, thousands of protesters in the square

Thousands of citizens have gathered in front of the Prime Minister's Office, responding to the opposition's call for a massive protest against the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Protesters hold banners and call for the prime minister's resignation, accusing the government of corruption and mismanagement of economic and social issues. The rally marks one of the largest opposition activities in recent months and represents the ongoing wave of nationwide protests that have begun since January 2026.

The opposition is demanding an immediate response from the government and has warned that the protest will continue until its demands are met. Police have put in place security measures, monitoring the situation to prevent incidents.
