His Beatitude John: It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle

His Beatitude John, on the 12th Sunday of Matthew, conveyed very important messages, bringing us some of God's commands to respect our mother and father, as well as to take care of our relatives.

During his speech, Archbishop Joan listed some of God's commandments, which are: do not steal, do not kill, do not commit adultery, do not bear false witness, honor your mother and father, and love your neighbor as yourself.

He also conveyed the word of the Gospel of Saint Mark, where at the end a message is conveyed "that it is very difficult for a rich man to enter heaven."

"It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven," said Archbishop Joan.

"St. Nicholas, former Metropolitan of Ohrid, says something very beautiful: We are all sick. The saints are those who are the least sick."

We may be less sick than other people, but compared to God, we are all sick, so we need God's presence and to follow the example he has given us through his life and teaching.

The Lord says follow the commandments and the son answered and said which commandments. He said do not steal, do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not bear false witness, honor your mother and father and love your neighbor as yourself.

And he answered frankly, saying, "All these things I have kept from my youth."

In the Gospel of Saint Mark, these words are also spoken: "The Lord saw him and loved him and said to him, 'One thing you lack, go, sell all that you have and distribute it to the poor, and come, follow me.'"

He left in sorrow because he had a lot of wealth, and God says the famous words that are known by almost everyone, that it is very difficult for a rich person to enter heaven.
