The head of the road traffic sector at the Korça DVP, Klement Pikuli, guaranteed today that a special plan of measures has been compiled, as the Beer Festival begins in the city.

In a statement to the media this Wednesday, Pikuli emphasized that the measures will be implemented with the aim of guaranteeing order, public safety and the smooth running of organized activities.

Pikuli also called on citizens and drivers to be careful.

"Today the Beer Festival begins in the city of Korça, which will last until the 17th. The DVP Korça has compiled a plan of measures, which will be implemented in order to guarantee public order and safety, and the smooth running of the activities organized by the Municipality of Korça. During this period, the police services of the DVP Korça, supported by the Tirana Public Security Unit, as well as by the Operational Road Safety Unit. In cooperation with the Municipal Police, the Korça District Traffic Police have made it possible to block the circulation of vehicles in several road segments, in order to allow the free movement and passage of pedestrians. I take this opportunity to call on drivers to comply with the rules and regulations of the road code, not to drive after consuming alcoholic beverages, not to use a mobile phone while driving, to wear seat belts for themselves and for other members of the board of directors. vehicles, maintain a safe distance and comply with the norms of behavior of the road code.
