"Epstein" file/ Artan Hoxha: A problem that Albania arouses curiosity

Journalist Artan Hoxha said today that it is problematic and worrying that Albania is an attractive country for characters involved in large-scale affairs and scandals, such as the "Epstein" dossier.

Invited to "Syri TV", Hoxha said that everything is related to the role as a money launderer, lobbyist and interest-seeker.

According to the journalist, it is impossible to avoid this, as such characters circulate everywhere.

"I think that more than these international 'brokers', ready to offer you the opportunity to use them as lobbyists and interest-gatherers. They also play the role of cleaners. If you look, the countries that move with these very important characters for global politics at certain moments are either dictatorial or semi-autocratic, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, etc. They find third world countries, where of course, these large sums can be paid there without any hassle for them. That's why I say that we don't care much about what these types of characters do, because they are in the circle even if we don't want them to. Our problem and misfortune is that, how is it possible, that a country like ours with very limited resources, becomes so inquisitive for these types of characters", - said Hoxha. /CNA
