CEC head clarifies/Ambassador Bushati part of Donald Trump's ceremony

Ervin Bushati, the Ambassador of Albania to the United States of America, will be part of Donald Trump's ceremony when the latter officially takes office as President of America.

There was a moment of doubt regarding Bushati's participation in this important global event, as the CEC initially did not allow his participation. The reason was that the online system set up by the CEC gave the red light, as institutions are obliged to postpone their activities during the pre-election period that starts on January 11th and ends on May 11th.

Meanwhile, another element that temporarily prevented Bushati from participating in Trump's ceremony is the fact that institutions are required to announce activities five days before they take place, and not three days before as in Bushati's case.

However, it was the head of the CEC himself, Ilirjan Celibashi, who clarified that recognizing the extenuating circumstance as an activity of exceptional importance for America and beyond, Bushati will regularly participate in Trump's ceremony. /CNA
