The Head of the Special Prosecution Office, Altin Dumani, received his Serbian counterpart, Mladen Nenadic, in a meeting today.

The meeting was announced by SPAK through an official announcement, which states that discussions were held on raising cooperation between the two institutions to a higher level.

The announcement also states that Dumani and Nenadic emphasized the importance of mutual exchange of information and expertise.

SPAK and the Serbian Organized Crime Prosecutor's Office deepen cooperation

The Head of the Special Structure against Corruption and Organized Crime, Mr. Altin Dumani, received the Head of the Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime of Serbia, Mr. Mladen Nenadic.

During the meeting that took place at the SPAK offices in Tirana, discussions were held on raising cooperation between the two institutions to a higher level in the joint fight against organized crime, drug trafficking and money laundering.

Mr. Dumani and Mr. Nenadic emphasized the importance of mutual exchange of information and expertise, for the benefit of law enforcement, regional security and beyond.

Supported by the Western Balkans Criminal Justice Project at Eurojust, this meeting, the first between the two law enforcement institutions of Albania and Serbia, marks an important step forward in cooperation in the Western Balkans region.
