Tuesday started with snowfall in the Korça region. Snow removal operations were necessary at the Kapshtica Customs, Korça-Dardhe, Korça-Voskopojë, Korça-Ersekë, and Ersekë-Leskovik.
Road cleaning and salt distribution are underway to ease traffic. Drivers are also advised to exercise caution due to the weather conditions.

"In the early hours of the morning, snowfall began in the Korça Region.
At the Kapshtica Customs, in Korça-Dardhe, Korça-Voskopojë, Korça-Ersekë, Ersekë-Leskovik, snowplows are on the ground working to clear the roads of snow and distribute salt, traffic is running smoothly.
"Drivers should exercise extra caution when driving due to the wet road conditions, and should be equipped with winter tires and chains when traveling to mountainous areas with snow," the announcement states./ CNA
