Today, 8 months late from the request made by the opposition leader, the Constitutional Court of the Republic has been revealed not as the country's sole and highest body in the administration of justice, but as a branch of Edi Rama's Renaissance.

Today, the Constitutional Court ruled on Sali Berisha's request regarding the three positions of lower courts regarding the measure of house arrest, finding the former Prime Minister right that the duration of his house arrest was excessive.

The issue is related to the position of Berisha's lawyers, who during the two-month reporting or information opposed the position of Irena Gjoka, who insisted that Berisha should continue to remain under house arrest. A measure that, as it turned out, was converted into an obligation to appear in January 2025.

Did they remember to establish justice in the country?

No.

So, why this decision now?

The Constitutional Court has issued this decision after a full 8 months. In other words, today this decision is worthless, since the opposition leader was held in custody for a full 333 days and the Constitutional Court did not even deign to consider the unconstitutionality of the measures at the appropriate time.

The same Constitutional Court previously rejected the request of the parliamentary opposition deputies on this issue, but accepted Edi Rama's request for Belinda Balluku.

The only reason for this decision is not Sali Berisha, but the opening of a precedent to favor Belinda Balluku, Erion Veliaj and the rest of the Rilindja party who have measures from other levels of the judiciary.

So, today the Constitutional Court has confirmed that it is increasingly taking the form of a section of Rilindja, commanded and controlled by Edi Rama. /Syri.net
