OSCE Ambassador meets SPAK leader, Klodjan Braho

The Head of the OSCE Presence in Albania, Ambassador Michel Tarran, met this Tuesday with the new head of SPAK, Klodjan Braho. 

As reported in a statement, Ambassador Tarran congratulated Braho on his election to office and wished him success in taking on this important and challenging role, while reaffirming the strong support of the OSCE Presence for SPAK and its key role in the justice reform process in Albania, emphasizing the importance of this institution in strengthening the rule of law and increasing public trust in Albania's democratic institutions.

During the meeting, Tarran and Braho discussed current and future cooperation between the OSCE Presence and SPAK, including support through capacity-building activities, policy advice and the exchange of international best practices.

Tarran reiterated the OSCE Presence's continued commitment to supporting justice institutions in Albania and welcomed Braho's views on ways in which co-operation can be further strengthened to effectively address corruption and organised crime. /CNA
