Former Democratic Party (DP) candidate for deputy Aulon Kalaja has made a strong statement on the Kafe Shqeto show. Kalaja has denounced that within the security perimeter of Rinas airport, in the village of Qerek, there is a drug laboratory.

According to him, this violates national security. Kalaja emphasizes that he does not know of another country that meets the conditions to be the narcostate of Europe.

"First of all, who would have imagined that on the anniversary of the Albanian state, we would be congratulated as a country that must fight drug cartels.

Secondly, we need to understand the context, 8 months ago when the May 11 elections were concluded we did not have a congratulatory message from the US. They only congratulated the Albanian people, this had never happened. This is the context of the events that are happening.

"The third point is that at the Rinas international airport, inside the airport, in the village of Qerek, we have a drug laboratory there, this calls into question national security. I do not know of a country that meets the conditions to be the narco-state of Europe," said Kalaja./ CNA
