Part of Tirana without electricity/ OSHEE responds: Transmission line failure

This evening, some neighborhoods in Tirana experienced power outages.

Through a post on social media, OSHEE announces that a breakdown has occurred on the 110kV transmission line.

OSHEE announces that power has been restored to institutions of special importance.

The announcement further states that OSSH groups are maneuvering through ring schemes on the second lines.

It is also worth noting that power was restored in some areas after only 30 minutes.

OSSH is working on supplying second lines

At around 20:30, the 110kV Tirana 220 kV - Traktora transmission line was cut off, leaving several areas of Tirana without electricity for several minutes.

Currently, OSSH groups are maneuvering with second lines through ring schemes.

Institutions of particular importance have received electricity, and in some areas it was restored within 30 minutes.

Currently, a part of "Ali Demi" street, the area near the Teleferik, Fresku, the areas near "Elbasani Street", etc. are without electricity.
