Altin Dumani: SPAK was created to combat phenomena that harm the state

The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, was part of the 8th International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Law at the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University in Durrës.

Dumani emphasized that trust and justice are important elements, as without justice there can be no peace and without accountability there can be no democracy.

The Chief Prosecutor has underlined that there is still much work to be done to eradicate organized crime.

Dumani said that efforts to build an impartial justice system cannot be unilateral, without the help and cooperation of many institutions.

Among other things, Dumani stated that SPAK was created to crack down on phenomena that harm the state.

"It is a pleasure to be here. The variety of topics is attractive, but my presence today is in the wake of meetings organized at other universities, with the aim of continuing our inter-institutional communication. Trust and justice are important elements; without justice there can be no peace and without accountability there can be no democracy."

The justice reform was achieved through fundamental constitutional changes. SPAK was created to combat phenomena that harm the state. It is one of the most important products of the justice reform and has shown that it exercises its right against any subject, regardless of their ties to organized crime or to specific objects of investigation.

"We are aware that there is still a lot of work to do to eradicate organized crime. I would like to emphasize that efforts to build an impartial justice system cannot be unilateral, without the help and cooperation of many institutions," said Altin Dumani./ CNA
